Terms of Sail
Pirateport — November 2026
These are the terms you agree to by holding an account at Pirateport. They are deliberately short.
Your content is yours. What you write and post here remains your work and your property. We claim no ownership over it.
You give us a licence to display it. By posting, you grant Pirateport a simple, non-exclusive licence to show your content on this site — in the feed, on your profile, and on your crew's berth — for as long as it is posted here. Delete a post or your account, and it comes down with it, as our Privacy Policy describes.
Post nothing the Port Code bans. The Port Code is part of these terms. Threats of violence, sexual violence or coercion content, harassment campaigns, spam, and scams have no berth here, and posting them can end your account, as the Code sets out.
Accounts are personal. One person, one account, held under a name or moniker you have the right to use. Do not impersonate another person or another crew, do not berth a crew under false colours, and do not hand your account to someone else.
The port is provided as-is. Pirateport is built and run by two people — Jace Krueger and Jules Marlowe — and offered as it stands, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the harbour open, sound, and secure, but we cannot promise it will never leak, list, or close for repairs.
The port will change over time. Features will be added, altered, and retired as the harbour grows. Where a change affects your rights under these terms, we will post it here and note it in the Gazette.
The Port Code governs conduct. In any dispute about behaviour in this port, the Port Code is the standard we apply, and moderation decisions under it — including appeals by email to [email protected], as the Code provides — are how such disputes are settled here.
Welcome aboard. Sail true.
